In fact I absolutely relished 9 for keeping an old school element of gameplay and style. Something about keeping a relatively all natural earth and simple levels of civilization. Gives it a much more authentic feel to it as opposed to being burnt out with futuristic eye candy that really can only do so much for you before it becomes stale ya know? FF13 did that in the first 5 minutes of playing >_> 7 was my introduction, my favorites are 8 and 10
Cerberus.Irohuro said: » 7 was my introduction, my favorites are 8 and 10 My introduction was actually four and six. Well back then they were two and three :P Yeah, I couldn't stand 13. The only character that made it any good imo was Sazh. Every time you take control of him you get that badass Blues song to play. Everything else about that game, though... ugh.
That reminds me! There was a girl in my work the other day, she called my manager mean. Why? Because he didn't like 13. Then she went on about how he only liked 7, which wasn't true at all. Then she asked me if I liked 13. "Nope. I thought it was a terrible FF game." I think she was shocked. Then she went on to say,
"Let me guess, you didn't like X-2, either." "Not particularly." "You didn't like it because it was girls, didn't you?!" I couldn't help myself. I facepalmed at her so hard. back on the topic of beverages i drink a lot of
Dawn of Souls (more specifically, Final Fantasy II) was my first FF game.
i like 6 and 12 too, i like 7, but it was kinda ruined for me by the overexploitation =/
i liked 12 because of the design of the world, open zones and side areas that werent even relevent to the main story, it was just a ton of fun to explore I haven't played 7/8/9/10/10-2/12, but, if I was to rate them, I'd probably piss off a lot of people lol.
Speaking of things related to the FF series why was it that XI nerfed Dragoons so much. >.> They were so much cooler in every other game. Yeah I liked dragoon in the other games. DON'T JUDGE ME. Freya and Kain were the best! Oh yeah. Don't forget about Cid! (VII)
also, can we count CoP? CoP was amazing, probably the only storyline to make me cry at the end

Probably my favorite in the entire OST. Okay guys I have a stupid FFXI math question.
Is Blitz Ring worth fulltiming for the TPing, or should it be saved for use with Aggressor or when the mob is IT or harder? For the time being, a ring takes up a relatively good part of my accuracy foundation since I eat meat. I know the haste effects are cumulative, but I wanna make sure it's worth having on all the time prior to compound effects like: March, Haste, Hasso, Samba, etc. The first on the nes Was my 1st. Fave is FFVI
Monopoly at Room 221 > Table 4 > ffxiah
If I ever got a motorcycle, I would totally sport a helmet like that. Artemicion said: » If I ever got a motorcycle, I would totally sport a helmet like that. Also high five for VI being your favorite.
Though I'm kinda glad I played and finished it when I did otherwise everything 7 and beyond would have been meh to me after something like that. I loved all FFs except 1, 2 and 12 (and 2 would've been great for its time). I thought 4 was kind of so-so too. I really enjoyed 13 oddly. Full benefits being you're missing the mob like a blindfolded kid with down syndrome while trying to hit a flailing pinanta?

Sorry if I have a hard time grasping that statement to the fullest extent. Coffee is mandatory for any kind of rational thought or comprehensive thinking. Are you essentially saying if I really need 5 accuracy to hit, blitz will be negligible only in times when I'm receiving extreme amounts of haste, such as samba, spell, march, hasso, desperate blows, etc. And if I really needed 7 acc to hit at all, then 1% isn't gonna do jack compared to the general need to actually hit the target. |
