Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Well, one week from now I'll be on my way to Chicago.
Pretty excited to see good ol' Windy City again, and of course seeing Distant Worlds again; this time for FF's 30th anniversary celebration. I'll be sure to take plenty of pics for y'all~ So "Ruby" chocolate will apparently be a thing now
'Ruby' chocolate is characterised by a "fresh berry-fruitiness" and a distinct colour, which distinguishes it from its predecessors, Dark, Milk and White. It is made from the Ruby cocoa bean, which has a distinct set of attributes to those used in other chocolates, and is the result of several years of testing by Barry Callebaut. Is it actually chocolate though? Strictly speaking, "white chocolate" isn't actually chocolate. It doesn't contain any cocoa solids.
My mother, for instance, has a very strong chocolate aversion to chocolate because something about the cocoa solids triggers really, really bad migraines w/ numerous physical manifestations. She can eat "white chocolate" with no problem because it's not the cocoa butter that causes the problems, it's the cocoa solids. Also: Quote: •"Ruby" chocolate is particularly targeted at Millennials and their desire for "hedonistic indulgence". Give me a *** break. Seriously? "Hedonistic indulgence?" Because there's a single person out there who won't take time to enjoy a thing if they have the means and inclination. Nope. It's just millenials! ...we'll ignore the fact that Gen X'ers and X/Millenial tweeners are the ones who made the craft beer, vinyl, specialty coffee, and similar phenomena take off before millenials could even buy booze... I miss drive in theatres
Asura.Ina said: » Lets not forget drive in theaters being their Netflix an chill. *** you. Renting movies on VHS was my Netflix and chill and I was chill. Like Mister Freeze without the dumb helmet. Edit: apropos to Proth's post, I did go to the drive-in with my wife too. Valefor.Prothescar said: » I miss drive in theatres My home town still has an active one! Just closed for the season though. Complete with a "vintage" website. I still need to get/play Nioh but can't afford to drop 80 on it off PSN and never see it in stores : (
Battlogue episode 2 tomorrow!
Still annoyed that Lightning Black Warrior is getting a normal release kit while Fenice Liberta and Amazing Z'gok are P-Bandai. >:I Asura.Ina said: » I still need to get/play Nioh but can't afford to drop 80 on it off PSN and never see it in stores : ( Valefor.Prothescar said: » I miss drive in theatres There's one near me (somewhat), probably would only be 2~ hours from you, if I recall correctly. Ah the memories: I miss having to duck down in the back seats covered in blankets at the ticket booth. I saw Back to the Future and Weird Science back to back. Walking from the car to the snack building in the center of the lot. Oh and adjusting your radio to tune in to the actual broadcast... Now all a drive in is good for is a settlement in a post apocalyptic Boston. Lakshmi.Zerowone said: » It died like everything that was pre-90's America. If that were true I'd consider it a fair trade. Sadly...not so much. Some days you just want to watch the world burn.
Some days you add kerosene to the fire. Some days you are the one lighting the match. Today is the day that people would throw some meat on the fire. Hahaha newbie!!
