YouTube Video Placeholder woooooow they are now an official dub for anime Artemicion said: » Wordspoken said: » Artemicion said: » Anyone here good at spotting out VGM arrangements by ear? There's a really nice arrangement of Kakariko Village, but the only source material I have is an old swf, which does not give credits. Here you go You'll need to download it locally and play it on your browser of choice since it's a shockwave file. Even if you can't figure out where the arrangement comes from, enjoy the kittens. With that said, I'm gonna go get some rest. Thanks for the help~ I know quoting one's self is a bit of a social faux-pas, but I found out where this comes from finally. Turns out it was an arrangement made for the only official soundtrack release for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, on a CD called The Legend of Zelda: Sound & Drama. It was only released in Japan and obviously has been out of print for ages, so it's no surprise the average asking price on ebay is $200+ for a copy. Think I might stick to piracy for now... Gundam Versus open beta this weekend. It's up for download now if anyone wants to get it out of the way ready.
Quote: In the Americas, the open beta will begin on September 2 at 12:00 a.m. PDT and end on September 4 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. In Europe, the open beta will begin on September 2 at 8:00 BST and end on September 4 at 8:00 BST. A PlayStation Plus membership will not be required to participate in the beta. Users will be able to download the beta application starting August 29. The open beta test will feature the following content: 94 Mobile Suits, all Striker units Player Match (Online mode) Casual Match (Online mode) – 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 Ultimate Battle (Online / Offline mode) – 15 missions, 30 missions Trial Battle (Offline mode) – 1 Route Free Battle (Offline mode) Tutorial 5 in-game music from “Missing Link” and “Crossbone” Kinda lame that Hot Scramble is pre-order exclusive over here when Japan can buy it normally like the other two. Custom move sets is a really interesting mechanic. RPG style stat allocation feels really tacked on though. Art Direction - I enjoy it a fair bit. Nice break from all the hyper realism AAA devs have been pushing. Environments are quite nice, if mostly un-interactive. Servers are unstable at the moment and the game has some obnoxious glitches involving invisible environmental assets. Still enjoying the combat though. @Josi

So, do the mod makers get compensated for their use of their mods in this club? I didn't watch the whole thing.

There's absolutely no reason to believe Bethesda would do anything different or otherwise benefit the modders or consumers of their products. Monetizing on mods is just another greedy cash grab like last time. YouTube Video Placeholder AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
EDIT: I did thing. A big reason Oblivion and Skyrim are still heavily played at 11 and almost 6 years old is mods. People still buy copies because mods keep them fairly fresh. Kinda shitty to not give the creators some kind of compensation.
Gundam Versus is pretty cool. Still disappointed in the lack of G Gundam suits in a Gundam fighting game, but it's whatever.
The new survival mode is great, and I'm having a blast playing as Graham's Custom Flag. Rushing the enemy in flight mode, transforming back to MS mode and mashing their face into the ground is so satisfying. (y'w')y Also sucks that all sharing is disabled so can't even take screenshots. Really hoping they change that before release. Asura.Swaggernaught
