You must be a healer, therefore you doing over 0 DPS means you're already better than 85% of the healers in the game.
I mean... I do but I definitely play them like DPS...
I also play tanks like DPS...

Especially for newer healers who've never touched an MMO, coupling that with DPS who are still learning ins and outs. Sometimes I forget that I'm not in a group of veterans, so here I am making more work on the healer who is already encountering an increased load due to the DPS.
I guess the best way to think of it is that I sometimes lock into a "Farm" mindset when I should be in more of a "Progression" mindset due to the reality of my groups.

For XIV I always found it's important to have a correct level of expectation depending on the type of content you're partaking in and how it's set up.
It's always why it's irksome when you see elite raiders screaming for top 1% DPS from PuGs in 4-man DF content.
Or casual PF only PuGs who expect you to understand them when you're doing like... 300 DPS on DRG.
Those types of... I guess arrogance, leads to people just hating on every facet of the player base, lol.
