Yes, and all I have to say about Target is their stores have garbage selection. I had to do my order online, got Horizon, Nier, and RE7 because Yakuza was out of stock. Returning RE7 for most likely Mass Effect. Having played Nioh and Tales, both very good games, would probably run through Tales first tho. Its been a great first quarter for PS4 gamers, already have a huge backlog of 2017 games with Mass Effect and Persona 5 right around the corner.
I won't be getting the collecters edition but thats another day 1 buy -.-

I kind of want to play NieR first, but I haven't played the first NieR (I have it), and only saw a playthrough by the super best friends. I still feel like I should play the first one before going into the sequel to understand things better. As for FFXV, I'd rather wait until the fix chapter 13 or whatever they are working on, so I'm going to hold off on that for now. I played Zestiria late last year, so not sure I want to play another Tales game right now. I also platinumed DS1 at the end of January, and Nioh is souls-like, so not sure I want to play that just yet either. What a tough life I live, huh? FF15 is good thru chapter 8, everything after that is crap. That said, you can thoroughly enjoy and experience the entire game practically before going ahead and advancing the story/beating it. Then trade it.
That's like 200 dollars lol
So partially out of my chagrin for the new Diadem weapons, but also partly out of, "Ehh *** it, I'm bored and don't feel like advancing the plot in Nier yet." I decided to start working on BLM in XIV tonight.
It was sitting at 28 THM, cause I'd picked it up recently when bored to try and force out the levels for it, since it's one of my last 60s(and technically my last one, because I leveled MCH already on an alt). I got it up to 30, the storyline for THM was pretty good. Then ***escalated immediately upon getting BLM. So I was like, "Well, I could just know that I won't have any fun on this till like 44, or I could take it to POTD for a crash course in 60 BLM." So I went to POTD floor 1 and started going up in DF groups. You level really fast inside of POTD, and they let you have all the skills your job is capable of performing, including quest ones, while you are inside. You should hit 60 towards the end of the 31~40 floorset, and I did just that. It was pretty easy to understand up to 50, and immediately started getting more fun upon hitting 44 and getting the Firestarter trait. As I got over 50 though, I had to start reading tooltips and trying to understand the best way to use the skills. Turns out for most of the trash, couldn't really use them. The trash doesn't have enough HP to justify the use, unless it's like mimics or something, or unless I'm alone in a room getting beat on by more than one thing etc. Anyway, I started fiddling with it when I could actually see the effects, and holy moly! Really enjoyable. It's kind of like a mix between Bard DOTs and Monk Greased Lighting, i.e. you have to maintain two timers(Your Ice or Fire and your Enochian). It's actually kind of intricate, and most welcome on BLM, since BLM was really simple up to that point. So you get this fun rotation that's not too hard to do, as well as big Michael Bay explosions for like half your attacks. I actually got to do the proper rotation(at least mostly proper, I haven't looked up the minmax for it yet) on bosses. Super fun! It kind of makes me not want to leave POTD as BLM until it is 60, because I don't want to not have Firestarter and Fire IV lol. Hope this gets an English release. Really don't want to have to buy the DLC seperately.
