Well I am kind of a nervous wreck at the moment. I dunno if people were aware but Alley and I worked at the same place, on alternating days we were our counterparts for the districts we were in. Then I got canned.

Well tomorrow Alley has been scheduled for the day off, she is having her infusion done earlier in the morning so she took the day off. (Infusion for treating her Lupus btw)

This morning she got a call from Chris, the regional manager, asking her if she would be able to make it to a meeting tomorrow with Roxanne (assistant director) and Robert (head of HR). She has met with them before for various reasons, such as initiating her FMLA status and follow ups. Just the timing is making me uncomfortable.

Chris (regional guy) said not to worry, that it isn't a negative meeting. Then again 2-3 weeks ago when we asked him about the posting for the position in our districts he said that we were hiring on an extra person and that no one was being replaced not to worry... so we know he is about as trustworthy as our next president (either one doesn't really matter at this point).

Then just to add a little more anxiety, Alley's aunt shows up this afternoon, out of the blue, and hands me a $200 gift card for the grocery store in case we are struggling. The way she spoke, and handed it to me... it seemed super ominous.

Thaaaat sucks.
