On my MNK I use emperor's new fists. So I'm basicly just using my fists to punch ***and not some weird *** thing hanging off my hands

Realism in a fantasy world: Why?
Also, I gotta disagree. Everything up to level 50 is just reskins and palette swaps of the same few weapons over and over again. It's when you get to 50+ that you start seeing a wide variation in how weapons look. The playerbase likes to hook onto the flavor of the month glamours though, so you will see the same things repeatedly.
