Apartment number 1. In Ward 9. I need an interior decorator to help before I stuff if full of things I can't afford. On the other hand, Alexander the Creator's first boss, Refurbisher 0 is pretty simple all things considered. Josiahkf said: » A new type of monster came out last month but it's not that good. insurance companies tend to do mass recruiting. it's a career that you don't just get a salary, YOU have to self-motivate and sell. plus you don't tend to make a lot of money for the first year. i enjoyed doing it for years, but got burnt out. that's when i transitioned to a desk job.
tldr if you can self-motivate and want to do sales it's good and aflac is a good company. if you want a job where you just go to a place, do a thing, and get paid, don't be an insurance agent. *also aflac has good benefits and good policies. pretty much sells itself. i'm actually still involved with the aflac childrens cancer center in atlanta. going to an event there on saturday. My brother does that, he's a very good
But then again, different country, different realities, mileage may vary. Insurance sales is like used car sales and many other commission-based careers. It tends to attract really scummy people because it's easy to make regular, decent money if you don't mind bullshitting people and/or pulling the wool over their eyes to caveat emptor their *** for your own benefit.
But if you can manage to establish yourself as a good salesperson in those fields while staying honest and helpful with your customers you can really make a decent living while actually helping people get their money's worth. Don't accept that kind of work unless you recognise the brand or name.
Speaking from an incident the other day when i was in the courts, there was a man there who had just been fired, because he was asked to make 18 sales per day. (0 hour contract). He had evidence that suggested that the whole company in a month couldn't sell that much. They also refused to pay him... |
