Anyone here have any experience working with high-quality, detailed cosplay piece creations? Specifically talking about the latex/foam/plastic works.
I'm considering getting into making weapon replicas, would like some info into what I'm getting into. I've got a bunch of Nerf guns I'm going to paint/mod to get my feet wet but looking to plan ahead, as I've done that kind of model building/altering work before in other applications, it will just be about getting back into the swing of things.

Oh I imagine that's true.
Looking to go a bit more hands-on though myself.
Was looking at eventually making a couple of FFXI corsair weapons, specifically a Hexagun and Death Penalty, the latter of which I'd probably use an actual gun stock for a base.

Well, that's why I said "don't tend to," as there are always exceptions and cultural variances.
Also, dudes who just want to show off their junk and/or the sock they want you to think is your junk.
I general maybe not, but I mean...what function does that kind of thing serve? Really it's just a waiting game until someone actually sees it, realizes that the product doesn't match the advertisement, and you're 10x more embarrassed!

I think it will make a John Mulaney sketch prophetic, but otherwise meh. I've only seen the first of the new Ocean's movies anyhow.
I like HBC and JLaw, as well as Cate Blanchett. Not AnnHath's biggest fan, but w/e.
