That is... oddly close to my current situation. I'm just going with the option of keeping on the track of teaching her. Not entirely too much else you can do. Well you can be like me and tell them they suck but you gotta decide how to handle it afterwards... and hope they take it well.

Fun is always going to be a big thing, but fun for me, and slowly for her, come from being able to do content, which means being "good" at the game.

Carry them. Carry them as hard as you can.
Do they play DD and suck? Pick up a healer job and bust your *** to heal them extra so they don't spend as much time on the floor.
i went through this situation previously. chick wanted to play lol with me. she couldn't get past basic bots. they'd just throw her off too much. she hadn't played games since like ps1 era so i wasn't surprised. just curious as this chick i'm talking to atm is semi-taking an interest in league.
always fun to see how people respond, cause how many games can you deal with them being an absolutely weak link, or being stuck playing bot games if they ALWAYS want to play with you.

Is it LoL again this time? Honestly I have a hard time grasping a lot of ***in that game. I consider myself a decent gamer, but I can't killshot minions worth a damn.
For that I would say grab Heroes of the Storm and play that to get the basics down, then up it to LoL. HotS is to LoL what Dragon's Dogma is to Dark Souls.
