been fighting a migraine for the last 4 hours. finally making some headway on it (no pun intended). i should be able to make it into work with only taking two hours of sick time.

If I took a shower with a migraine, I'd probably want to die. When I get them, my own breathing is too loud and hurts my head.
for me it's about dispersion. if i feel warm water all over my head and body, it kind of spreads out what i'm feeling and means i'm focusing less on the part of my head that is trying to murder me. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. depends on the type of migraine. water, small amount of caffeine, advil, and a dark shower.
