I hate them because they're just ridiculously unrealistic and there are actually, at times at least, real-life issues that come into play afterward.
Like increasing the value of the home to the point they can't afford the taxes on it.
That said, I will never not watch Holmes on Homes when I find it on, because Mike Holmes is basically this generation's Bob Villa or Norm Abrams.
What's even worse though are the house hunter shows.
"Oh, we can only spend $500,000 on a house, help us pick our palatial mansion, we can't figure it out!"

Curilla, Ulmia, Areuhat, Elivira.
All could use a little more love in the fan department. Never shared the Prishe/Nashmeira obsessions.
