Eating while pregnant makes everything that I can stomach taste so much better! Or eating is more satisfying... Then again some of my favorite foods are not currently favorable. D: Oh well!

Hah! None of that for me, but it's oddly similar! The eating part, nothing like the rest, lol.

Speaking of which, there's this awesome shop in Boulder, CO that has (ya know, "special") peanut butter cookies that are amazing. We got some for free about a year ago, birthday goodness!

They were free and I did make another purchase. That place was crazy secure too, lol. But it was clean with friendly (go figure!) workers. They take your ID and you go through this super heavy, electronically locked door that the guy who checks your ID opens for you. Then they have tablets/photo books displayed with their products. They don't allow crowding at the counters, so people don't feel as awkward, lol. Which was nice for me because I was pretty unsure of what I wanted. It was different! Some of the shops look like old pawn shops with bars on the windows and such, lol.

Oh yeah, definitely naming it Dustin Hevans... how did you know!? I'm due October 27th! I bet it'll be a Halloween baby, lol. But I'll be here!

your eyes decieve you my friend

-plenty of cheese underneath
-also cheesy liquid goodness as well, not just melted shredded cheese
-and the chips were made that day in the restaurant.

good luck making homemade tortilla chips fresh and easily, lol.
I believe you, just, I'd rather have more cheese smothering them myself ;O

i normally cook some really hot pepper with the cheese while it's melting then pull it out. i find it gives an even heat and you don't get like one bite that is too intense out of nowhere like you do if you just throw random peppers on. granted i like hot stuff so some jalapeno sliced super then tossed all over it then some habanero cheese poured over the top. you'll cry, probably sweat, but you'll enjoy it.

jalapeno's taste so gross to me. I love heat, but they have such this weird strong taste that just puts me off. I always request them off if I have the choice.

habaneros however I love, great lovely pepper taste to them.

habanero have fresher more fruity taste. it's why it's always served with sweeter stuff like "mango habanero...everything".

do you ever eat serrano peppers? that's my typical choice when i want something similar to a jalapeno, but i don't have to worry about people who don't enjoy spicy complaining.

sadly i think most americans have no idea what peperoncino are aside from if you told them it was the pepper that papa johns puts in their box. also, the best thing you can get from papa john's imo.

I don't know, maybe. Just, it's not the heat that bothers me, but it's like a sorta vinegar taste. I hate any green pepper, especially the nasty green peppers they put on pizza. Gross beyond gross.

lol well i assumed anyone who likes habanero doesn't mind heat. you gotta practice safety precautions when dealing with those. serrano are a smaller more concentrated pepper than jalapeno. it's not as bland which lends more of a fresh and fruitish taste that is similar to habanero. i get like 4-5 for a meal and it costs less than 30c at the grocery. you should try one.

and i'm with you. i'm just not big on bell pepper. sometime in stir fry or on fajitas, but when they cook it till it's soggy like stuffed pepper or on pizza, it's horrible. my parents used to slice the tops off bell peppers and stuff them with hamburger then pour a like tomato sauce on top and cook til death. i could never stomach it. i do however like to skewer gouda and onion stuff habanero and throw them over the grill. let them get a lil burnt and... heaven.

I think the key to your spiciness enjoyment Kali is having your peppers fresh and not pickled in brine/vinegar.
