Probably not if it's just the expansion..however do you actually need a PS4 code to play the game if you got the discs without a code. Say you have the PC and PS3 registered??

I liked how XI did it but they went full greed with XIV. They did offer a free ps3 -> ps4 upgrade though so that's cool. They may have changed it though, last time I played I tried to use my account on PC but it wanted me to buy it again.
RIP in pieces FFXI on Xbox/Ps2. Thanks for the good times.
Damn, had 50 million left and a ton of REM mats to give away. But had to uninstall...
XI on 360 helped bring me out of a very deep depression. Just being able to talk to people who were into the same stuff as me and who understood what I was going through was awesome. I've tried many MMO's but nothing will ever take the spot that XI has. I will always be grateful to the game/people I met during my travels in vana'diel.
