If there are like, workshops or anything in your area, I'd recommend you check em out. You don't even need to bring finished works, just samples like you posted here. And if not, well, just keep writing.

Basically, you and other people who have random written works just get together, usually with some guidance from someone with considerable writing experience. You then share your writing, give impressions, ask questions, etc to polish the pieces. I imagine they vary in effectiveness by who goes, but I know in my community there are people who have managed to make their writing into something profitable (including the occasional book deal) thanks to the support they've gotten.

I've never heard of anything like that here. But even if there was I strongly doubt I'd make use of it, I'm extremely leery of my unfinished works. Novels or otherwise.

Hmm yeah, I understand that. I'd probably do it myself if I wrote with any regularity just because I'm surrounded by writers and poets, so it's like I'm already in the water instead of poking the waves with my toes from the shore.

Yes I have, but I play a lot more on Nintendo consoles than Sony atm. I do have a PS3, but I'm still waiting on KH3 (and maybe FFXV) before I buy a PS4...
But about Dark Souls. I have even yet to play the first one. I think I would like playing them though. From what I heard / saw it seems more or less like an action / RPG game that doesn't screw around hehe.

I don't like Souls games. The actual reason I want a console is to play KH 1.5 and 2.5 since I never actually played a KH game before. PS4 is so much more expensive tho.

Also I find it funny that a large portion of that list is "exclusive" games that were ported to other platforms and called a remaster or something.
