Lol, I politely asked to join this guy's PF for Sephirot EX on my Machinist. I had to ask, because he set the ilvl requirement for his PF slightly higher than my MCH's ilvl. ilvl in XIV is basically just a number(truly representative of average VIT/main stat), and the only things that really matter are your stats/actual performance.

The guy was rude from the start, and I actually got into it with him. He kept saying stupid ***, and when I countered it he'd just pull back like, "Well I know that, but it's not your prerogative to join my group. You're working your way towards a Blist, kid."

Am I the only one who liked Dynamis? I enjoyed doing 18 man shout runs and getting all the items I wanted each run <.<

I find it therapeutic. Two hours of just chill grinding with a fantastic award waiting for me at the end.

I liked it back in the early days.

I never liked Dynamis. I joined a static group and I had to stand in line for YEARS to get a Duelist's Chapeau. Finally after getting sick of waiting, I dropped that shell and joined one where I could lot on whatever I wanted. We did the glacier 3 times before I finally won a lot on the Duelist's Chapeau. At that point, I left the shell because I didn't need anything else from Dynamis, so I got my name dragged through the mud from them. Two months later, they changed Dynamis and anyone could get anything at any time. Oh boy. Still didn't have what I wanted, but now I have friends who used guilt for me to go with them to help them out.

Dynamis was tedious then and it's tedious now. Bleh.

When I went over to Bismarck they had shout runs where you could pick a 1 and 2 (sometimes just pick 2 items or 1 big currency) and I'd almost always get what I wanted <.< On Bahamut we had the same system but it was a linkshell

For the first 4-5 years of playing this is all Dynamis was to me. I loathed seeing it near the time to start getting ready, and I hated it even more because there were always those 2 fkers that made the entire team wait for them. It didn't matter if it was Dynamis or Einherjar, there was always someone. Then it was run after run of doing the same path and killing the same stuff each time, until SHOCKANDAWE a rare drop!!!! That only one of us could have. One. From all the work of each member, only a single player could be rewarded for countless runs, and if it was THF gloves, well, chances are you wouldn't see them very much longer after that because they got into some end game LS.

I hate Dynamis to this day, even the thought of it, and I know it changed, but I hate it deep down in my soul, that if there were such a thing as life after death, that they would hate it too.
