Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I dunno, but I might as well blame you too. *nod-nod*

I've had those. Serial dreams, like watching a tv series.

That didn't happen today, though. My dream was (hopefully) one episode long. It involved me being on the Starship Enterprise when half of the crew was kidnapped, the other half turned into weird creatures controlled by worm things and it was up to a cleaver-wielding Wolverine (why the hell did he need a cleaver) and myself to save the crew.

I have occasional bouts with insomnia and one night I tossed and turned to try to get to sleep, the one time I dozed off I dreamt about tossing and turning and trying to get to sleep.>.>

Thankfully I've never had to deal with insomnia. I have had dreams where I was fully aware I was asleep and yet I would be talking to someone in my sleep, again fully aware that I knew I was asleep and sitting up in bed talking out loud at great lengths.

It creeped the hell out of my ex.

Ever had one of those night Paralysis, hallucination dream-things?

I once had one and it was like I was awake but couldn't move and I could hear like a bunch of voices wailing in agony outside as if this sound replaced the wind.

If you want to know what it sounded like, you know the Turn 9 Coil battle music? The part where the music stops and the voices wailing in the background? It sounded like that but much scarier. It was cool.

No, thankfully. Man, I think I'd lose it if that happened to me. Every time I hear about that, it just creeps me right the *** out.

My buddy used to get those. It would happen every year around Christmas for him. He said he'd wake up and couldn't move except for his eyes. At the foot of his bed, he'd see this tall, slender figure standing there with some sort of ethereal demon cat on each shoulder. The figure wouldn't say anything, but it'd get closer to my buddy. Apparently the eyes and the mouth were both filled with fire and he said that he could smell sulfur. Then, out of nowhere the figure would vanish and my buddy could move again. He'd freak out, run to his mother and she would yell at him for playing with matches in his room because she could smell sulfur.

Yeah, *** all that.

Yeah, Google pointed me in the right direction for that. I thought he was talking about some obscure JRPG that I've never heard of, like Homebound or something like that.

For me, it didn't feel like I couldn't move, I just didn't try but knew I couldn't. I thought I had finally lost it. Lol
