My phone is trolling the devil out of me. >.> I have about a gazillion job applications out around town, and keep hoping for a call for an interview. So every time my phone rings and my phone doesn't recognize the caller's number, I get all excited. And twice yesterday and today (twice each!) I got calls from unfamiliar numbers and got all jiggly and then! ...

they were wrong numbers. /wrist

I don't even get wrong numbers. /sadface

I knew of Bartimaeus (he's the moustache gif guy) but I had no idea about the couple thing. lol

My number ends with 00, which around here is mostly reserved for businesses. So I get wrong number calls a lot, at least a couple times a week. Some of them are pretty entertaining. For example:

Me: "Hello?"
Caller: "Is this so-and-so?"
Me: "No, sorry, you must have a wrong number."
Caller: "Are you sure?"
Yeah... I'm pretty sure lol.

They are especially insistent if they are trying to call the hospital. I've had to get snippy with a couple. Like this:

Me: "Hello?"
Caller: "Hi is this that one hospital?"
Me: "No, sorry. Wrong number."
Caller: "This is too the hospital."
Me: "No, really, it's not."
Caller: "Are you suuuuure?"
Me: "I'm sure."
Caller: "Really sure?"
Me: "Really sure. But if you insist then for a fee I can give you false medical advice!"

I feel bad just hanging up on them though. >.>

My number used to be 2829, and there was a tow truck service that was 2928. I would ask them for the location and make of the car and tell them we would be there in 15 minutes.

Just like, say "No I'm not sure, what can I help you with?" When they answer, say "Please hold." and just set the phone down and leave it that way until they hang up.
