Oh god halo 5's multiplayer alone blew me away. Warzone is without a doubt my new favorite game type for the fact that you can curb stomp people and AI at the same time.

I watched a few episodes of each, but actually finished Steins;Gate and people hyped that up way beyond the point of its actual worth. I've never been more disappointed by an anime. So now I'm afraid to watch Death Note or FMAB because they might be the same thing.
Death Note is a very good anime, even though the second part is somewhat inferior to the first. At the time when everyone talked about it I thought it was just some fad too, then checked it out and was really surprised with the quality.
Problem now with DN is that most people who haven't watched it yet have probably already been spoilered. It was pretty awesome watching it every week not knowing what would happen next, it had a nice tension.

That, and some minor stuff that they changed in the anime didn't sit right with me :/ (namely the endings of both seasons).
I often prefer manga to anime, however imo DN is worlds better as anime. That thing is just meant to be cinematic and with the quality they used for the anime it was well worth it.
If its not main stream anime everyone recommends i can fix that......

Eitherway i don't tend to watch the bigger hitter anime either. I hate SAO. I think it's the worst anime in years. *shrugs* but thats just my opinion lol. Who am i to judge.
But honestly though, if you want really unique newer animes... I'm here.
