I generally like to see it more as something that runs contrary to your sense of taste or enjoyment but you like it anyways more so than something you'd want to keep a secret from others.

I also don't understand that though. If it's something I like how is it contrary to my taste?

I'm not trying to ruin your idea or anything, I just can't grasp this concept I guess.

It's weird. But try and think of something that goes against your sense of taste in media, but you inexplicably enjoy nevertheless. Like a metalhead that likes some pop song or boy band for some unknown reason for example.

I guess it entails a compartmentalized way of seeing things then. Music for example, there isn't a genre I don't like, there's something good in each one to me, as well as bad in all of them. Sorry, my mind just can't get there.

To be fair, FFRK is enjoyable. Mostly I guess if not for anything but the grind.
I was already behind on story before but with this latest update, I've got way too many story dungeons to grind out now. @_@
All that delicious Mythril will keep me going though... Need to get that Organics when the Cloud/Barret event hits.
Apparently there's been 29 levels added since I last updated my spreadsheet (sept 12) and I was behind 2-3 updates before that.

I'll know how many levels I'm behind on classic playthroughs here after I check vs my game.

Apparently I'm 65 dungeons behind on classic, and that+73 on elite...

Eh, I'll eventually catch up.

Oh I can't even touch the + levels, well I don't really try. I need more 5 star stuff and to utilize synergy and abilities better for them and I'm just lazy (and too poorly equipped).

a few more 65's and 5 star weapons and hopefully I can do at least the first few.

I don't think Rooks was around as an admin last time you asked. I mean you can't expect him to know what everyone asked for before he was even looking >.>

It was from either Pokemon or Monster hunter right?

Like Ack said. Just because you've suggested it in the past does not mean Rooks has seen or remembers it.

If you want it implemented you're best off asking him personally at least posting it in the suggestions thread.

Nearly 3 years ago, and 8 pages backwards.

Keep in mind Rooks has himself rather stretched in terms of free time. As much as I'm sure he'd like to take the time to look through the entirety of that thread I have a strong feeling he hasn't had the time to.

I'm not saying you're wrong for expressing some frustration over its lack of implementation I'm just saying you may need to be more understanding of Rook's position and free time. He does a lot and as far as I can tell tries his best to implement as much as he can in as timely a fashion as possible.

So, for the record, the easiest way to get me to do something is to PM me about it. I stay on top of the suggestion thread, but I don't backread three years. So much of that stuff isn't even relevant anymore.

Anyway, PM: that doesn't always mean it's immediate (sorry, Drac) but it'll go on the list - if there's a reason I'm not going to do it, I'll say so.

Rooks's position and free time

For the record, my actual programming time is usually limited to 8-12 hours a week. Family (including a toddler!), RL work, sleep - all of these things take a toll, and it's not something I can just pop into when I have ten spare minutes. Now, I can get a lot done in those hours when I'm on a roll, but I get demotivated and unfocused too, which is why some weeks are better than others.

You've actually sent me a number of really good suggestions that haven't made it in yet.
