But i haven't been able to get a new test because I've been saving the one that I beat him with for sentimental reasons. :/ Good reason, BLU and RDM are tied for limit break difficulty, I think. :P

I know BLU is most prominent in their physical melee based spells with stacking STR and all that jazz, but is there an equally potent magical side to them that can essentially make them effective nukers and dot kiters, or even healers?
I'm gonna make my taru blue mage, and I wanna at least be able to justify all that INT and lack of STR. But they are kind of slow-casting and not prone to the high numbers physical spells do. As for healing and DoT, we have spells for those and sometimes they are better than other jobs. /WHM makes you a good party main-healer and we're getting White Wind next update (which better be as good as previous games or I'mma flip a table). Yeah, idk about as you level up, but I know at 90 there are certain nukes that can hit hard if you gear it that way. Like Charged Whisker especially. Not only that, blues can do pretty much anything. They can melee/spell dd, nuke dd, eva tank, blood tank, buff, heal. If you look at that blu soloing thread Draylo has some vids of what he does on it with different gear sets and stuff. Its really impressive. EDIT: Some phys spells have odd secondary modifiers as well. If memory serves I think Frenetic Rip has a secondary INT modifier. SECOND EDIT: Also some of the most powerful phys spells arent modified by str at all or are secondary str modified. For instance Hysteric Barrage is entirely dex based, and I think Benthic Typhoon is either primarily AGI or entirely AGI based. BLUs really can do anything. :3
Except PL people without /WHM. Alright, sounds good.
Also I like farming spells. Gives a unique experience to killing all types of mobs in various zones instead of farming in the same spot over and over to get the gil to buy a stupid scroll.

The accomplishment afterward is nice. :3
It's easy to earn gil, but you actually have to go out and do the work for spells on BLU. Artemicion said: » Alright, sounds good. Also I like farming spells. For example, BLU and PLD have pretty awesome club skill, yet all available clubs and weapon skills usable by them blow.
