Eating food, tasting food, and cooking food is apart of life. You can enjoy the company of others just because they are around, and you can also by having them around while you share a meal together, or individual meals. So yes, I would say food is a huge part of entertainment.

Eh? The comparison between the price of food to the price of games.
Well, if you were to calculate the entertainment cost of eating, you should use the formula:
(COST OF EATING IN THE COMPANY OF OTHERS IN SOME PLACE YOU LIKE) - (COST OF EATING FOOD ALREADY IN YOUR FRIDGE) If you are eating a sandwich you made yourself out on a picnic, then the cost is just the gas money to drive to your location (if applicable). If you're eating seafood spaghetti on a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, then it will be slightly more. For me games provide a lot more entertainment than anything else for the same price
