Good riddance! I hate summer. It's too hot and I have to worry about taking my dog outside because I could get attacked by kids who want to pet him!
Now that kids are back in school I only have schedule around the bus times and avoid the old lady who latches on to whomever she can to talk to.

Just had my 2-year-old grand-nephew grab me by the pinkie, say "here go!" and drag me to the back fence of our back lot just to laugh at me when I try to get him to go back. >.> I'm too young to know that feel. ; ;

I think my favorite memory of my nephews in their younger years was trying to get one of them ready for school and he insisted on putting on his own shoes but was putting them on the wrong feet. I said "you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet" and he gave me this really smug look and says "Uncle, I KNOW they're my feet". Time flies, he graduated from high school last year...
