They just don't make them like that anymore...

Edit: Sodium Hydroxide would actually probably be the best acid to use for dissolving a body(it was actually used rather often to dissolve animals into a water-like coffee coloured substance for a time) though, you would later need to use another acid to dissolve the bones as it has little to no effect on the calcium. I liked 5, but I expected it to be exactly what it was: a decently put together, well acted action movie with a couple of twists I saw coming and one or two I didn't. As deeply weird as Tom Cruise is, he does still make a solid action movie. I can't stand Tom Cruise, but I gotta hand it to the guy that I do respect him. The man does all of his stunts, and he usually insists on doing them for real rather than in a green screen. That whole him dangling off the plane thing is insane and very *** real. If that were me, I'd have nightmares for the rest of my life.

I find him incredibly weird in real life but I do think he's a really good actor and honestly, that's all that matters for me when I see a movie. I don't let an actor's personal life ruin the movie for me (seems like some people do) I disliked Tom Cruise before he revealed himself as a whackjob. I just don't really like his acting. He tries entirely too hard. Subtlety isn't exactly a word in his dictionary.
Since this thread is about random thoughts...
Here's some other random post of mine. (No political opinions are being expressed on this post) Protesters in Brazil call for President Dilma Rousseff's impeachment (CNN) It was a *BUSY* Sunday here... The local TV broadcasts did air that stuff live... At least you guys in the USA have a smart and funny guy as President. -_-; leo said: » Since this thread is about random thoughts... I can't stand listening to the Beatles, but I respect the ***out of them for what they did for music. There is so much they contributed and without it, music today would be vastly different. Which, when you think about it, isn't necessarily awesome now. 20 years ago, absolutely. Nowadays... If we could just erase the last like 14 years or so of music, we'd be much better off. I've heard great things about ogg retaining quality even at surprisingly lower bitrates. From what I recall dealing with Ogg was always a pain. Really? I never had any issues with creating or using ogg. Unless you account the lack of ubiquity as being a pain; then yes, I agree. MP3 or AAC might just be the safest route, though I dare not fall anywhere under 256kbps. Also has WMA improved over the years? I've avoided it like the plague do to it's rapid degradation in quality regardless of bitrate. Simply sounded like ***no matter what I did :/ Bahamut.Josiahfk said: » I am disappointed; you can find utter garbage created in every medium in every day. It doesn't diminish all the amazing pieces of work/artistry or literature we've been given in the same time frame. That would be like judging every 30 year old solely based on them being 30. "well you're clearly a tool, you're 30 years old." etc But the fact one person has a favorite artist or author doesn't mean everything else should be erased from history. Thynameishyperbole |
