I think the effects of FFXI are gross, both health-wise and smell-wise, especially Abyssea (vs. Ballista or Campaign, that is); nothing is worse than rank, stale clothes with baked-in dropped console support. And people who Fell Cleave in their homes/cars ruin those things for resale; that dank-*** smell doesn't go away.

And I certainly get why people do it.

But outside of sensible people, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who sees the effects of FFXI and ***posting on GW the way I do, so I don't even have the occasional Free Login Campaign anymore. I just...can't. The mental association with the negatives are far too strong.

Honestly, I've lost quite a bit of weight in the past six months and I'd be interested to see how much it reflects in the face without the beard, but...oi. A beard is an investment, and I don't know if I'm ready to let it go. You don't just grow a great beard back on a whim.

Edit: Unless you're Gordito. Then you grow facial hair by sheer force of will.

true~ but it would be like a magical journey in trying to grow it. You could shave down to the tony stark look. then do a selfie a day ~everyday then montage the pictures together so we can watch your beard grow back

We'll see. Maybe once I hit my initial weight loss goal I'll take it down and then document the regrowth.

It's a great show. I'm even planning on watching the Emmy's this year (which I usually never do) just to see if Tatiana Maslany wins an award. She deserves one.

Definitely. I mean, I'm not watching award shows, because they're frequently rubbish, but I'll still pull for her.
