"Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" Demo Updates to 2.0 Next Month
Update to enhance battle system, camera, and more

Version 2.0 of Final Fantasy XV‘s Episode Duscae demo will launch in early June, Square Enix announced.

When it was first announced last month, Square Enix wasn’t sure whether it’d be able to release it due to uncertainty with console manufacturer’s policies about releasing an update to a demo.

Confirmed features for the update include enhancements to the battle system, camera and targeting enhancements, and additional combat actions. Other features are also under consideration.

Square Enix will share more details in a follow-up report.

UPDATE: So I think I'm done tanking after having nothing but bad experiences.

I just went to do my daily and got Thousand Maws of Toto-Rok. I mentioned it was my first time tanking it. The rogue kept running ahead and pulling. So I made a comment asking him to stay behind me so he doesn't accidentally pull. Then right after that comment for the first time, the thaumaturge attacks the group of mobs pulling them. So I asked him not to attack the mobs until after the tank pulls. So later on on another part the group runs ahead of me and the thaumaturge pulls again. So I left the duty and had a 30 minute lockout. Could of sworn we were in there over 15 minutes, but I guess not. I wasn't going to deal with that, as it was clearly intentional, and I was nothing but nice. I even greeted party when we started with "Hello ^_^" and let them know it was my furst time tanking it.

It's just sad that I can't do something I really enjoy. I was almost in tears I was so upset. Just killed my mood. I don't even want to do my daily now and don't even think I have time before the 3 am reset.

On the JP servers, the tank drives the run, the healer co-drives and the dps all defer to the 2 and just chillax and enjoy the ride. It's an unspoken rule and dps who are too zealous don't get much approval or are frowned upon.

It's very much the same with 24 man raids, there are alot of unspoken conventions such as the Alliance B tank will be the de facto tank for the entire run. Alliance A and Alliance C and their tanks will handle the fight mechanics. Nobody tries to upstage the B tank and all defer to him/her unless required to take over the role (eg. specific request, death etc). Aggro output is controlled to ensure it is never ripped off the B tank.
