I've made probably 200 pizzas over the past few years =P

I wish I could.. Cooking is the only 'work' I've really ever enjoyed. My dream for self-sufficiency is actually opening my own restaurant.

Okay, then nevermind.. Do you have any tips for me? D:

I think cooking is fun when you're cooking something new and interesting with someone whos interested in cooking something new.

Cooking dinner just for yourself is lameo no matter how you slice it.

That doesn't work for me.

Every time I try to make a pizza from scratch I burn it.. so I settle for this..

Get good yeast (I'm spoiled because a food co-op about an hour away carries amazing yeast), knead it for about 15 minutes to get the dough really well worked and has consistency to it, put it in an oiled bowl and let it rise in a warm place for probably 30-45 mins, beat it down, work it out, and there ya go. Add stuff to it, stuff the crust with cheese, w/e you want.

Herp, let the yeast ferment (right word I believe) in warm water with oil and sugar for 15 minutes in a warm place before adding it to your flour.

I did that before. Made a deep dish pizza in a spring from pan and took pictures.

That pizza was amazing, haven't made it since though.

I enjoy it even then. I'm constantly thinking up new and interesting ways to cook.. At first I just did recipes, then a few years after, I started doing whole planned dinners, then more years later I just started thinking up recipes on my own. They haven't all been slam dunks, but over the years, I've made quite a few things that are mostly unique (I read recipes, then tweak them with new flavors, or combinations that better compliment each other). Even now I still have my off days, but I can come up with some very good combinations.. I don't use recipes, they aren't written down anywhere, it all comes from my head, from years of experience, knowing what compliments what, what ingredients when mixed produce off or distracting flavors and the like..

I really want to be a chef, if I had to pick a profession, that's what it would be.. I love cooking, I guess it's in the family.. My mom is one of those moms who will get up at 2:30AM to make cinimaon rolls (when she's not being drunk and lazy) and my dad is someone who has worked in some pretty fancy places, getting paid 25+ an hour, every job he's ever had has been pretty much cooking.. The crazy thing is, I never really knew my dad, til after the point at which I started being able to just come up with recipes on the fly, and I hardly ever knew my mom, she only came to get me on weekends, and she would always just get drunk and order out or something.. But I find it more than a coincidence that neither raised me, I hardly knew either prior to 16, but both have a passion for food somewhere in there, and I have that same passion.

Waffles are boss and chicken is boss but together I don't know ><; I guess its one of those things you just have to try.

i think i'm gonna head to bed in the next few mins, i need to get up for school tomorrow. i have my first day of intro to programming an i'm excited for it (though we'll be starting with C++ =/).

getting there is a pain though, the shortest way for me to get there is to drive through a speed trap town where the speed limit is 25 =/

They get sooo pissed off when they're competitive. It's cute. LOL!
