The stress comes form keeping multiple people happy and dividing your intimacy amongst several people to the point that none of them feel fulfilling.
It's hard enough keeping one person happy and feeling fulfilled and satisfied with sex, why complicate your life and add a second person to please? (Besides yourself, but if you want to include yourself, then why add a 3rd person? lol)

having too much confidence is definitely not a bad problem to have, it sure beats having zero at all. Having no confidence in anything and / or worried / anxiety all the time can ruin someones life at an early age.
