I read most of the story for all of the ones I missed that I didn't intend to play or finish. Haven't read Lightning Returns yet, probaby will at some point.

From what I remember, what was said was along the lines of:

If FFX and X-2 do well, we'll remaster other games as well.

"other games", they've made many unfortunately.

That's a problem with a lot of publishers. They overshoot their budgets and expectations at the same time, so they end up dumping buckets of money on a "maybe" while expecting it to break records and the end results end up disappointing and alienating both the consumer and shareholders.

You know what, I'd even be happy with a contemporary touch up of FF5 and 6. Fix the shitty translations and censorship issues, throw in the extra content and facial illustrations from GBA, and give us those sweet PSX cutscenes. Or even do a 3D model version like they did with IV. That was such an excellent version.

D and I have co-oped a few dungeons, we'll be doing PvP soon.

I've been invaded twice though, beat the first invader :O! second invader jumped on me after an enemy aggroed, his HP was at like 1% though, so w/o the enemy I would have won :<
