How long did that preload take? I just got back from buying my PS4 so I still gotta do all the setting up and stuff lol.
Download took 1 hour, the way preloading on PS4 works is it will download a small file, like 5-6 GB, to get you going for the start of the game. Some games lock features like certain game modes, only including the start of the main story.

Then it downloads in the background, completing the rest of the game while you play. Some games plan this very well, others don't and you have to wait a few minutes to continue, but for the majority of games you don't have to stop doing what you're doing to wait on the download, and that's great IMO. You don't have to spend the day downloading a 50GB file just to play your game.
