Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I'm complaining, she just looks like a *** that SE wants to lure people in with and I think it's silly to design her in that way.
Only for the 54th time.
Just makes her look stupid even though she's not

You're no better. Well I'm done discussing the game here, would rather not have drama. Was nice while it lasted.
QQ she has small clothes.

I'm not sure where this conversation became a complaint tbh. >.> I don't see it.

Learn to *** read man. You don't have to read it
Go catfish some dudes on your other forum if you don't wanna see it Speaking of broken records, Sehachan.....
I get the ladies argument about female video game characters and the amount of cloth covering them. They have a very valid point about it and how inappropriate it can be sometimes.
You don't expect to go to battle wearing bikini armor like that warrior chick for Dragon Quest 3 dons. But you have to admit, it's not the storyline, the character development, or the battle system that first sold games in the 1990s and early 2000s, it was the physics involved with breasts of the lead/main/sub female protagonists that sold the games. I will admit that it wasn't the story that drove me to FFVII, it was the two balloons on Tifa's chest that did it.... Looks more like a shadow

Verda said: » You know there's some women, and men, who dress attractively cause it makes them feel good. Why do they have to be *** to do that? Where jean shorts isn't even slutty it's just jean shorts. I have a feeling if she was wearing a sailor fuku people wouldn't call her slutty even though those can be far more revealing and at least as far as Japanese things go, are way more sexualized. But because it's supposedly a school uniform it's not slutty, and jean shorts are. I never got those kinds of bias. I think she just looks ready for a nice day shopping on main street. But wtv. Opinion stated, not gonna discuss it more lets get back to fun stuff. "Then don't wear them", would be the obvious response to someone like that, but do you understand the consequences of not conforming? Peer pressure isn't just about drugs and alcohol, or partying. By not wearing clothing that meets the average standard, you could appear less attractive to others because you choose to wear clothing that covers you up more than a girl wearing a short skirt. That pressure could do two things to them, feel like they are being forced to wear clothing they aren't comfortable wearing, or feeling left out because they refuse to. It's rare to have a girl wear clothing that covers her up, and doesn't care what anyone thinks about her, because she knows she is beautiful no matter what she is wearing. It's so incredibly difficult to stand your ground based on your opinion, when you have every other girl in your class trying to wear the new hottest thing, flirting with every other guy, talking sexually in public, just to get noticed, just to be told they are beautiful, when it shouldn't have anything to do with how much skin you're willing to show to others in public. When people express their distaste for what Cidney is wearing, it's not because we think she doesn't have any right to wear something like that, even though she is a mechanic working on cars, its because of SE deciding to put her in the spotlight, sacrificing her character to bring customers in. Cidney is most likely the Cid of FFXIV, a character we have had in some way or another in every Final Fantasy game (except 1), and we aren't upset that he's a girl, but because her character was sacrificed for eye candy. Girls in my hs used to wear their shirts with the tag sticking out ot the neck on purpose so that everyone could see the expensive brand they were wearing.
Meanwhile me: "hey what brand is that shirt of yours?" *looks aroud* "uhh Idk, I thught it looked cute" Not everyone gives a damn about fashion, but those who do consciously value it in regards to their needs. It's like heels or bra, that stuff is uncomfortable but still plenty of women decide to wear them cause they feel it's worth the trouble. |
