I had extra money from working so much overtime, so I did the thing...

Had to move my sound card to the pcie 1x slot on my mobo, and it appears the slot might be dead.
If I buy a new mobo, i'd only be an HDD and a cpu away from having another computer though... lol

Hmm. I wasn't aware that you could put a 1x card in a 16x slot, never tried, nor needed to.

Guess I didn't do my full research back when it came out, well ***.
