Child of light was worked on by some of the longtime AAA-tier assassin's creed devs in the montreal studio.
Comparing another game done by ubisoft reflections to them is like comparing apples and oranges.

My friend sent me a message about that some time ago.
The director Patrick Plourde, who made Child of Light, was wanting to make it for awhile, years in fact. Ubisoft wouldn't give him a slot until he finished Far Cry 3, then he got his 1 slot to make his game with a small team.
They used arguably the worst shots to showcase GitS in that video. Stand Alone Complex had a lot of meat to it concerning the characters, Jungle Cruise I think was one of my favorite episodes despite how disturbing it was.
Apparently they made a V2 for the Raspberry Pi, this time with mount holes, which is one thing the first one was lacking.
edit: I'd love to have a case for this, but I'd want it flush with at least the audio jack side. I wonder if I could solder a battery right there to the power input where I wouldn't have to move the micro plug, so people could easily use the design, but most likely not or not easily. It would probably be better to just use other jacks on the case and use short cables running to the board itself, that way I don't have to modify the board at all. Edit: It looks like when they made the B+ they had also added holes (should have kept up with this), and the extra USB ports, so basically the differences are now just faster and more RAM. I'll have to go find the dimensions and see if they're the same, if so that'd be awesome. Edit2: RPi said: This has an identical form-factor to the existing Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, but manages to pack in both the new BCM2836 and a full 1GB of SDRAM from our friends at Micron. All of the connectors are in the same place and have the same functionality, and the board can still be run from a 5V micro-USB power adapter. I'm giddy now. edit3: even more so if I could power and charge via the standard micro port using the header like this: Shiva.Spathaian said: » YouTube Video Placeholder It reminds me SOOOOOOOO much of the Persona 2s!! And the return to demons (ala Sandman) is strange... The Shadow restructure really made Persona its own thing. Though the dungeons look cool. I wonder if our friend Nyarlatho is back center stage.... Judging from that train man... Here's hoping yes! (Too bad he won't bring back Hitler for this one...) SMTIV was too much Persona in my SMT... But this looks like it is just what MIP is all about at its finest. FaeQueenCory said: » won't read Claymore because "the art is weird" How is Claymore's art weird... Down to 100 pokes left for national dex.
Got a lot of cross gen captures to make. Which sucks. At least it will be easier to transfer them over on the 13th when I get my new NN3DS. Last night I got a Feebas from Wonder Trade...that I wonder traded in the past. >.>

I know what you meant, I was just agreeing with the sentiment :) For a game that's about 10 hours, putting 50 hours into it (so far, still some things I have not finished!!!) should say alot about it :) Oh man, I so overprepped for that Evrae fight...

Even though I hated this character, the art is still good. :3
It's better than the gothic kitty one.

Last night I dreamed I was walking my dog on the beach, and Ron Pearlman walked up and patted me on the back and said "Hey, buddy!"

Nah, I still like that one too, but for different reasons.

They do make a higher version, it's called the Banana Pi. http://www.bananapi.com/ There's links online for official books that with the CC laws allow their book to be downloaded for free on PDF if you want a Raspberry Pi book. I'm not really into the whole "book" thing, and are you sure that's made by the same people? edit: I've been talking about the RPi 2b, not the B+ (for the most part) it has a faster chip than the v1 B/B+, A 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU The Banana uses: ARM Cortex-A7 dual-core, 1GHz, Mali400MP2 GPU I'd probably stick with the main branch, for simplicity. And they all suck major balls.
That style nearly encompasses the whole kid link timeline.
The failed hero path with him as an adult has a much more realistic, grittier, semi-noir style to it. |
