I did, for some reason that didn't work. It's like Toshiba altered it to force the button to change to "shutdown and update" whether auto updates were on or off. To be honest, the regedit way was simpler.

To be honest, I'm surprised that people haven't automatically blocked me.

Best way to get rid of somebody is for everyone to block that person. Once s/he realizes that he is pretty much talking to himself, he would stop posting.
Except that people would see your posts if others quote you :P
Quoting for the people who blocked Kali.
I wonder how many have :O

I pretty much told people to block me one time. Someone was SO offended that I was posting news that the official forums posted. HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING YOU'RE ONLY AFTER VIEWS SUCH AN ATTENTION W..... Yea...

So I just said, if you don't like what I post then block me. I post because people enjoy this site and like seeing news discussed here as well.
I find this site to be easier to navigate than the official sites.

What I find funny is when people complain we mods here are too sensitive or ban-happy or something here. On the OFs you can get banned on a whim. It's happened to me a few times.
Can't your account be in risk as well? Like a ban in game for something you posted?
I don't think so, unless you are openly admitting exploiting glitches or hacking. Mine was never banned but the GMs and Mods there seem to be the same people which I feel is a mistake; GM duties can be stressful on a person, as can Mod duties. I think if you put both duties on the same people, not dedicated to one or the other, it makes them more prone to just start throwing ban hammers around.
They are the same people.

SE cannot afford to have mods for the forums, so GMs when they have time take care of forum reports. They will not peruse the forums trying to find abuses, though, they simply do not have time. Reports are usually made by other posters or community reps.

The rules are enforced by Japan, Yoshida to be accurate. They're not the call of the GM, they're entirely up to Yoshida. The punishment rules are VERY strict. They used to be 3 hours suspension all day every day during alpha and beta but it moved to week long suspensions now for about any reason.

If you post on French or German forums, you're fine, we are more tolerant, but English forums are pure suicide as they're taken care of by US GMs, which are people with no clue when it comes to internet and forums.

I remember a guy posting the navy seal pasta once, he got a perma ban and was sent the police.

I would agree with Jet on this. Why would it matter as long as it's plugged in?

Generally it's easier on the electronics to stay on/come back from sleep than it is from a cold boot, generally.

Ugh, I need to go to work to move a workstation, I don't wanna.

But I gotta.

If I go now, and it goes well I can be in and out in about an hour, then I am free for the weekend, so I guess I better go.

wouldn't always having your laptop plugged in destroy the battery? (unless of course you just run it off the power and pull the battery)

Made oven cooked slow roast ribs for the fire station last night. Went shockingly well, had a sweet/smokey/spicy dry rub. Forgot how much I enjoyed cooking.

In other news, C shift girl quit so now my mornings on A shift have been filled with fixing the stupidity of others for the past month. Every shift there seems to be 2 more problems than before that could of easily been taken care of before hand.

Now... Nap time.

Depends on the laptop and battery really, most of them now are "smart" enough to stop charging it once it's 100%

edit: obviously excluding the virus.

I'm surprised so few people block me as well, given the vocal objections to my behavior in the past and my adoration of sarcasm and my penchant for varied verbosity
It's because we write that off as being Canadian.

Enjoy your redhead stepchild status, it gets you all of the pity love!

BTW, that was a joke

I really don't see why anyone would report you.

As far as B-listing, I've found that indecisiveness and second guessing myself is my worst enemy.

"Was that person being an ***/temperamental/stupid? Maybe I was being an ***/temperamental/stupid?"

/takes "X" off B-list

"Oh great! Person 'X' is being an ***/temperamental/stupid again. Why do I give people second, third, forth, fifth... chances?"
