No, now go away.

Can't post much at work, mobile keyboard lag makes everything take twice or three times as long to do.

You know, I never fully understand the attraction people have for fictional characters.

Is it because of the mystery of the character, or do people project their attractions on them?

KN, got a couple of questions for you:

1.) Would you consider a chocolate-covered eclair a comparable substitution for a cream cheese kolache?

2.) Wouldn't you think an establishment that sells boudin kolaches would sell or have employees that know what a damn cream cheese kolache is?

(Question also open to Volk if he shows up.)

Yeah, as long as the kolache is cream cheese only. Now, if you are talking about a ham & cheese kolache or sausage kolache, then the answer would be no.

Let me guess: Shipley's? I don't know about you, but the accuracy rate of Shipley's (here in SA and surrounding area) leaves much to desire.

I rather go to Donut Palace or a one-bakery establishment (there's a bakery in Alamo Heights that's probably the best I ever had, but it's also a little pricy).

Ahhh!!! The answer I was looking for was "No!". We're just talking regular, simple cream cheese kolaches here.

Nope. Some Mom and Pop doughnut shop in some piddly town in between Rockdale and College Station yesterday. How do you serve boudin kolaches, but don't have cream cheese?

I don't think it wouldn't have been as annoying were it not for the girl at the window looking at me like a damn alien, getting snappy and trying to describe an eclair to me before I had my initial coffee.

No cream cheese kolaches? THIS IS EGREGIOUS!!!!!

Which leads to another question: Who doesn't know what an eclair is that it would require a description?

Wow, that's rare for a M/P shop to get something wrong like that. At least with my experience (I buy donuts and kolaches for work all the time, we all do) it is.

If you have to describe what an eclair is to a bakery attendant, then that bakery needs to close down, they are either idiots or their training needs to be much much better.

There is no excuse for a cashier in a bakery to not know what an eclair is.....

Believe it or not, foreign bakeries that I have been to (Dubai, Capetown, and Tokyo to name a few) don't have eclairs for sale. But US bakeries? Unheard of.

I've met quite a few bakers in my day that didn't know what the *** an éclair was.

Primarily because they know absolutely squat about baking what is essentially anything outside of a bun.

Secondarily because they've never been exposed to classic French baking or confectionary baking, and because it's usually gone in a flash like lightning :p

Yeah, we alternate on Fridays usually with the breakfast goodies.

There's a misunderstanding here, the drive-through attendant felt the need to describe what an eclair is, but what person doesn't know what an eclair is by the time they reach adulthood that it would require a description?

See, Canajia gets it!

All I wanted. :( Just one.

I find it amazing that more people know what a "cream puff" is (it's essentially a miniature éclair) but have no *** clue what an éclair is, and long story short, call it a cream filled long john doughnut.

Looks pretty good in the ORAS cutscenes. Still, got a soft spot for Hilda and I never played B/W, just B/W2. I think it's her choice of clothing but May is a close second for me.

in RSE, May looked like it could kick you *** just because.
her portrayal in the manga also showed this.

ORAS gave her shorts with yoga shorts under them (or whatever the *** they are called)...
bandanna replaced by a headband bow thingy.

let's see....

Technically FR/LG female was named "Blue" in the JP versions (Rival is considered "Green")

Nashu is in the Hildibran minion.

Hildi stands there, then does a pose. at this point Nashu appears and poses too.
