I thought Ford returned Ranger to being an F-series trim level as it was in the 60's and 70's.
Nah they announced the model was being discontinued in 2013, being the last year produced. or it was 2012 I forget
Dec. 22, 2011 was the final one.
Very sad when I heard that news. Put in a smaller more fuel efficient engine and market them to counter cars in the 18-30 year old demographic as cheap vehicles and done unit; those *** aren't towing anything huge anyway.
I wouldn't mind having a 70's Datsun 620, if I were in the market for a mini-truck but I'll stick to my 86 F-150 for now.

Would love to have one of these...

Silly Sandisk, shouldn't cost near that...
it's new technology to fit so many so of course it costs a lot etc.

I just enjoy driving 500 miles for 50 dollars of gas.
25 miles per gallon was still considered average as I recall.

Hmmm... that's odd. Using a free US VPN worked fine for logging into my bank account, but FFXIAH's log has my Serbian IP listed the entire time. Go figure, lol.

Are you factoring driving in -40F weather with that average? Using studded performance winter tires reducing it further etc?

The average dips down very abruptly compared to what I'd get on the last road trip this week sadly, even assuming you looked up the gallon volume of the cruze's tank.
A gallon is a gallon, but I did not include Canadian winter driving conditions into that. Probably more like ~18 then. Still average though.

500 miles for %50 dollars = $1 dollar per 10 miles. $2.50 per gallon would put it at 25 miles per gallon.

Since gas in Canada is much higher than the most I paid in the states when I went all over the country during my super awesome summer road trip (by a ratio of 1.7), I would assume that $2.50 (converted to USD) is actually pretty low for Canada at this time. I think more towards $3.00 per gallon to be honest.

Yeah when I left NJ (remember NJ is the cheapest gas in the US or comes really close to the cluster of the other cheapest states, but nowhere near physically [refineries]) it was $2.52 so I went with $2.50 by now.
