Mind if I ask what happened? I have heard plentiful amounts of atrocious customer service incidents from them, which is unfortunate. Kind of one of those things where it's great when working correctly, but if something screws up, it's catastrophically bad.
Ah, I can definitely see how that'd leave a bad taste in your mouth with Steam for an indefinite period of time, even after fixing that problem. Luckily opting for offline mode gives you at least a week (I think) of unconnected freedom.

Idk why but it just popped into my head. A few years ago while playing a LoL match we had a team fight in mid then we backed off as we were low health and they had a guy under the turret.
As we are backing off some one on vent screams "She thought she backing!" like 5 times. Needless to say we had no clue wtf he was talking about.
Turns out 'She thought she backing!' means 'Hey guys I shot my Ashe Arrow down mid and it hit the person under the tower. So go kill them before they get away.'
Unfortunately we had already backed off so instead it just became an inside joke with us. So now whenever we see some one backing and either canceling it or getting interrupted we say 'She thought she backing!'

Pics? I've never seen that before, but if it's legit, it likely will add the difference to your Steam wallet. Did you trade a booster pack of cards or something?
I almost bought something on Steam for the first time yesterday/this morning, but talked myself out of it.
I have enough games to keep me entertained for now, but if I get more Steam friends, I may consider getting some of the multiplayer ones.
