I don't know why you would play a Final Fantasy that doesn't have a great story, it would have to be pretty amazing in other areas for it's time if the story lacks.

anyway i don't see much base behind the criticisms of Cidney other than "OH SHE ISN'T THE SAME AS ALWAYS WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH" and other such nonsense. I had someone complaining to me for an hour last night about how "SHE SOUNDS LIKE A REDNECK" even. Come on. It's the year 2014, be more open minded.

I couldn't finish XIII-2, I don't like forcing myself to play a game just to see what happens. I like to enjoy the games I play and have fun doing it.
