Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I forgot how amazing old James Bond movies are. I watched Goldfinger last night and within 10 minutes Bond has hit a woman, sexually harassed a secretary, and smacked a woman on the *** while sending her away to have a "man discussion."

been thinking of what I want to do with myself starting next year and I've come up with a list of things I want to work on/do. -Get an account to Bronze V in League of Legends -Learn how to read/write German -Learn how to read/write Japanese -Get better at my job -Make a personal website -Travel to the UK -Work out daily -look into doing kendo again -build a new computer -make more money than 2014 Well one of those things you can do in about an hour if you're good, the rest seems rather time consuming.
edit: well, you can do Kendo and that would technically be a work out, but I'll assume not what you had in mind. It's time for homework. *thunderclap*

I've really wanted to get back into kendo since our sensei decided to not teach anymore because he was getting old and the majority of people just stopped showing up. but besides that~ yeah I want to work out. Been feeling lazy and weak D: realistically i probably won't go hardcore but would be cool if i could have a body like lee byung hun I should make a list of goals, but my only concerns right now are my new job and getting my debt under control and my kid, everything else I'll deal with when I get to it.

I need to download it later. It's sad, I had a pirated copy of the multilanguage of different versions for some time, never touched it. Normally the bundle is like $400-500+ iirc. I've been thinking about getting some JP onry imports or something, to give myself incentive to learn. I guess I could try playing School Days again. I really just want to watch anime without subtitles and read nontranslated manga :|
Oh, I like subtitles anyway, hell I turn captioning on on most things when I remember to anyway.
But there are some things that aren't translated or translated well, and that would be nice. YouTube Video Placeholder Can't wait for this week to be over.
...wait, after that I'll have to study for finals, nvm then. I think I need to buy and dehydrate an entire cow jerky getting expensive

I will say, most import games will not teach you anything and will probably frustrate you. There's plenty of websites that will teach you rather than an import game. I have a link somewhere of a site that will show you kanji and hiragana of numbers and then time you on doing math problems. One thing I like about this, it starts training you to not listen and then translate to english in your head, and then translate it back to japanese. EDIT> http://www.jlpt.jp/e/ Also with JLPT, there's several courses that you could do and see what it takes to get certified in business to use Japanese. N5 is the starter tests and you can find test answers online from prior tests (they use different questions from a mass pool of questions) and see if you can follow along. Just a few words, and very few rules. |
