Yeah, I've given up on contemporary style. I saw someone yesterday wearing a baseball cap on its side, the rim fully straight in some gaudy and obnoxious color, a tank top, pants down around the ankles while they were walking around like a leper. When did that become the embodiment of "tough"? That's how all my students look, and I just... blagh.

I'll try to finish out the semester, but I'm sick of hating my job every day when I come in. I'm definitely going to start flinging my resumé around like a chimpanzee with diarrhea starting in January, though. I hate that school and there are a number of other locations that are much better than that one. Only by sheer desperation and inability to find a job would I return to the school I'm at now, next year. Even if they offered me a raise and the honor students.
