Haven't heard of this before. Is this some kind of thing where you get decent trade in credit for a PS4 for selling your PS3? Seems like a shitty deal since the PS3 is capable of playing PS1, PS3 and downloadable titles while the PS4 is not. Unless PS4 opened up their virtual console under my radar.

It's the free upgrade from PS3 version to PS4 on FFXIV.

You can upgrade to the PS4 version for free instead of having to buy the game for it, at least until the campaign ends.
