Why not just adopt from a shelter? Those are the ones that need a home the most.

Idk, maybe, it's probably because I grew up with my lil doggy that I was so close to her, she was like my little girl. We went everywhere together, watched TV together, listened to music together, fell asleep on the rug together. She died September 2008, I was staring her in the eyes as the light dissapeared from them, it was the hardest moment of my life laying her to rest. I have a pic of her right here on the desk <3
I prefer adopting from a shelter as well, but the problem with that is you often can't get a puppy, and people like to train their dogs from a young age.
Speaking of shelters, our local humane society has a 4 year old female border collie/Australian kelpie mix. They say she's sweet and gets along great with other pets. MUST HAVE HER! We don't really have room for another pet though. :-( But boy, if I thought for an instant that we could swing it, she'd already be here.

I do wish I had that as a kid, but the only dog I had was my sister's when she was 5 and I was 1. We're aren't sure how it died. We believe the neighbor's dog and her got into a fight and, well, she lost.
I mainly had fish for pets. I like playing with other peoples' dogs, but they're like grandkids/nieces/nephews - once you're done, you want away with them until you're bored again. I don't have the will power to take of one because I'd rather be playing a video game or be out with friends. That and my best friend is allergic to many types of pet hair so I can't have him dying on me.
Why do people get the last two freaking drinks out of the fridge and don't have the courtesy to at least put some more back in? Now I gotta wait for my soda to get cold, and dumb *** will probably go drink it.
