What's up with all the bacon lovin' in this thread of late?

It very well may have been the "food of the gods" ... since you'd have to be immortal to survive eating lots of bacon regularly.

Chemical additives in bacon are carcinogenic.
Bacon is one of the most concentrated food sources of saturated fat and dietary cholesterol.
It's also laden with excessive amounts of added sodium.

I'm not saying don't eat it ... but eating a bunch ain't a good idea.

Actually I've seen how they make turkey bacon.. You're basically eating sliced turkey hot dogs.

Turkey bacon just doesnt ooze fat like piggy bacon does :|
It's just not the same expirence not having to dump/collect the fat.

I actually quite like microwaved bacon.

Especially the fat left on the plate the bacon cooked on, mop that up with the bread and feel your arteries clogging in orgasmic bliss.
