Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Downloading a Rom for a game you actually physically own... legal?
I have some issues with a PS2 game that was hard enough to get, the disc is scuffed up just enough to freeze it at a certain cutscene. *sadface* Think so
depends who you ask, but what game do you need?
use an encrypted torrent, and force encryption and it won't be as much of an issue. There's other steps to take too, I used to run something that blocked known trackers, don't really care anymore. As long as you don't leave stuff sharing forever, they will ignore you. That reminds me, I need to add some games to my PS2, I have some more that I found that I want to rip, and a larger list of ones I want to download/get from people.
Also: is your PS2 soft modded to play the discs?
Welp done with the pokemon demo.

Usually the recorders on PC have better error correction than the game console and are able to recover the correct data from the disc. So if something like IMGBURN can image the disc, you might not need to download a "ROM" of it. We call images of optical discs "ISOs" though... even if you don't make it into an .iso :D
but I'm lazy and usually just torrent instead of ripping everything manually, usually faster too. I do need to go through my wii wbfs collection and purge though, got it from a friend and it was bloated with ***I'll never play. Wii is a piece of garbage system bloated with shovelware and a dozen of cool games.
And I happen to have three systems here, too... D: Fenrir.Mariane said: » Wii is a piece of garbage system bloated with shovelware and a dozen of cool games. And I happen to have three systems here, too... D: It works rather well for a SNES/NES/GBA emulator with a classic controller and a few good games, easy enough for me to set up for friends who want to play old ***, and the UI is dumbed down enough for them (who apparently lack the computer browsing skills of file>save file>open )to work an emulator on a PC. Also is great for my nephew. I just ordered a new sensor bar for mine as it got broke during a move, I just hope the 3rd party ones hold up at all... edit: also cheap, system+external hdd +flash cart for under $100 and can have at it with a bunch of titles and then roms, and iirc I could also get the gamecube stuff to work on it too now, but I never bothered with mine (I should try that soon). To be fair though: mine was given to me as a gift, I wasn't going to get one yet. Metroid Prime 3 was reason enough for me to buy a Wii. Everything else was gravy.
I haven't touched my wii (it's in the family room as a dedicated netflix box now) or my wii u (just ... sigh...) in forever :/
I um skyward sword >.> I want my U back so I can play Hyrule Warriors, but the baby-momma took it >.>
grr. Kitty looks so pouty

jk It's a dodo in Noct armor
It has a skin condition, no feathers as a result

One of the two monitors goes into standby, comes back, goes into standby, comes back... after a few times the whole PC shuts down. Already reseated everything. Not sure if this sounds more like a video card failing or a power supply issue. Any thoughts/ideas? Grumpy Cat said: » Got a PC in the house doing something weird...
