Yes, but it takes time for that light to travel that distance, roughly 10 trillion KM. It takes light, entirely uninterrupted, nearly a full year to travel that distance.

Doesn't matter, they used "lightyear" in the picture and that term is used for distance

I want because of reasons.

I actually had one of those...it was the late 70's and the family had just moved to the US, and my dad had bought Raideen (far left one) for my brother. I got so jealous and little-girl-pouty because I found it so cool that he later bought one for me LOL (Dragoon, far right one.) :p

It was the coolest thing ever! He had these yellow plastic axes that could mount on the left hand. I liked it more than my brother liked his--I think he had wanted Mazinger instead--and I took it everywhere LOL, it probably was kind of embarrassing for the parents. :p I liked it so much, I wanted to also get the Godzilla one (with a lever on the back of his head to make a flame 'tongue' come out..!) but never did.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that the legs had no articulation (couldn't bend at the knee or at the hip) but it was made up for by the fact that he had these weird roller-skates at the bottoms of the feet. LOL Seventies toy design...ah, well, still nostalgi-cool, to me at least. ^^
