While not a constant, that kind of answer generally comes from the kind of person who would find a way to be unhappy most places. I work with a lot of them right now.

laptop won't last on battery long enough to do the work, only have about 30 minutes of battery left.

I have 7~ hours to do it, but I have class for 2.5 of that, plus the hour round trip, plus my sister having my car and not being home for at least an hour.

Not to mention the laptop is basically stationary and doing the math needed is easier on a hard surface. That being said: laptop is already overheating without the cooler running, fml.

Balls.

I really dislike these things. Not everyone is a slinky, model-level idealistic cosplay girl. But a lot of people still enjoy anime and games and cosplay and don't really deserve ridicule for their recreations.

Especially when it's an appropriate attempt for her body type. It's not like she's cosplaying as Carbuncle in a bikini.

I can understand having issues with certain things about a job but once you hit a certain level of dissatisfaction you should just move on. I know some people who are unhappy no matter what they do. I personally detest low skill work that doesn't require the use of my brain but I'm forced right now as my field is dry in the area right now. But I still find ways to make it tolerable and not have a horrible attitude with my coworkers and by extension customers.

Even my last job that I really liked had it's downs, but it was more due to certain coworkers incompetence that led to us not being able to do our job efficiently and by extension making customers wait longer.

Some people have too much of a 9-5 mentality, and you can't have that when working at a hospital. But their's was more like a "6-3" mentality, when the hours of operation were 8-5.

I find it to be very rare that it isn't your fault if you aren't happy with your job. A lot of people gossip and talk very negatively about their job, because that's apparently what you're suppose to do when you work.

Too many people try to find the negative in things just so they can complain. If you find something negative that affects you, then you probably shouldn't be working there.

Sure, there are things simply beyond your control sometimes, but if you wake up in the morning and prepare yourself to hate your job before you even leave the house, you are only setting yourself up for failure.

Idk, maybe I think too simple, but from people who I've met they don't even give the day a chance.

You can work your dream job and still have bad days, that doesn't instantly make the job a horrible job, you just had a bad day, or a bad experience. You're suppose to pick yourself back up and move past it, not drag it along with you until you really do hate your job.

@Kali: sorry but every job has something negative that affects you.

Here in Italy you're lucky to find any job at all. If you hate what you got you can't really drop it as the market offers nothing else. Having a bad job is better than starving.

Again, I very much get what you'r saying, Kali. I do. Even a job that isn't ideal can be made at least a bit better with an improved mindset.

I'm just saying the absolute "if you don't like it, it's your own fault" is debatable.

I fail to see what's inappropriate about that picture to her body type.

What do you want her to cosplay? Domo-Kun?

Sorry, not my job.

There is absolutely nothing negative that I can think of about my job.

1) I'm very well paid.
2) I'm very respected by both clients and peers, even my bosses come to me for advice from time to time asking for my help in understanding certain specialized tax codes (especially international tax).
3) I travel. A lot!

I seriously cannot think of any negatives in this job. I think this is one of the best fields of study, and it is always fluid because of lolgovernment'sneedstosatisfythepeople.

I don't ridicule people. I've been bullied for years(albeit not for physical appearance), I know what it's like.

But still a cosplay is made to get looked at. I'm not saying you can't cosplay a schoolgirl if you're fatty, you absolutely can, and even should if you find it fun; however you should expect people to comment since cosplay are, at the end of the day, a costume parade.

I don't understand how a person can be miserable during a job and can't possibly change their circumstances. It doesn't even have to involve quitting and working for a competitor either.

If a coworker is being a ***, either ignore them or request to work away/around them, and not directly with them.

If a boss is being a ***, either quit and work somewhere else or (if you are lucky to have multiple departments in your job) ask to be transferred.

Location should never dictate your work either....

Which is why I think I'll just grow a beard and go as Heidegger.

Bothers the hell out of me that he's called like the philosopher. And not just any philosopher, but one of those I hated the most last year of highschool. *** existentialists.

Sorry. I guess it's just the...I don't even know what in me. I feel like when you've got a group of people like that who are all into the same thing, don't be a judgmental ***; just enjoy the gathering.

It's the same part of me that gets mad when "geeks" who play the "you're not a real geek" card or "girls aren't geeks, they're just doing it because[insert stupid reason here]".
