I was going to respond but I felt like my response belonged more in the Religion/Politics random thread.
The actual Palestine thread has gone to a better place though, so I wouldn't want to be a downer over there!

If these people would stop believing in various deities and start trying to build a cooperative state based on mutual beneificial results I can virtually guarantee everyone involved would be better off.
But that's far too *** simple of a solution. They'd rather keep waging wars and hating each other because of centuries of bitter conflict over fables.

My grandparents used to have a farm, had their own bees for crop pollination, nothing better than honey you can harvest yourself. Grandpa also had a sugar shack for making maple syrup every year. They ended up selling the farm cause they were getting older and couldn't really take care of the place themselves. A shame too cause the people that bought the property let everything die off and basically ruined the farm.

Go ahead. You don't find it funny that someone from a religion that condemns alcohol consumption is generalizing an entire population? Serious question. I thought it was hysterical, thus threw in dogma about diets. Joke, Seha. Jokes.
I don't think the West should intervene at all.
EDIT: The part about boycotting products that are used globally on a daily basis is where I fell off. Ain't going to happen. :/
