Every time I'm in bad pain or sick, I just think "man, to think feeling normal would be so amazing". And even right now feeling normal, I'm feeling good as ***.
I always take feeling normal for granted until I get injured. Same thing goes for electricity. I used to think electricity was a basic amenity that I took for granted until I lived in an apartment without it for a year and a half. I remember during that time visiting my then girlfriend at the time (who lived in ND) and just standing by a light switch turning it on and off over and over and being fascinated by the light that came from it. It was like I was from the 1800s and was experiencing electricity for the first time ever.
