Why is filler such horribly written and so out of touch with the actual story. It's like they try to make it bad.
I've been busy IRL, I usually come on, check up on things and don't post. Between work, getting my ride roadworthy, and losing weight... That's about it. Lol

I don't know what they added to the game but when I played for a few months, I felt the general experience was done. Even with FFXI, I never went after the harder relics or do end game.
I don't see the appeal people have with FFXIV, hopefully they changed up that duty finder also, ended up with a bunch of people that just dropped groups because they just wanted to do speed runs.

Turn 9 already downed, that's a bit disappointing.
To be fair, BG's recruitment thread said you needed to be able to spend 14-16 hours a day for a week after each update to get world's first. They've spent a ton of time and effort into being world first turn 9, especially considering they beat turn 8 on the sunday after the patch released.
Still, the fact that it's possible with iLvl 93(at most) is a bit unfortunate. Makes the carrot at the end of the gear treadmill a bit less attractive if it's not absolute necessity.
idk, my team struggles plenty with T6 still. I think SE didn't want to repeat a T5 though where it was a few weeks with people finding exploits.

I finally picked up FF1 and figured what the hell I'll finally give this a full play through, did a little bit of grinding, let's see how bad I get my *** kicked.
