After spending like 6 hours in one zone, moved to a different one and got my first atma within 10 min. :/

If I transfer my character to the ps4 during the beta phase 2 weekend will I be stuck and unable to play once it ends until its released? (since you can't play the ps3 version once you upgrade to ps4) (this question sounds very engrishy. I dunno how to word it.)
